All funds from the Komen Race for the Cure go to research, education, and screening programs.

We want 4,000 participants at the 2016 Race, so start recruiting your team now!  We plan to raise $65,000 with this event, and we need your help to reach our goal!

For the safety of all participants, rollerblades and pets are discouraged from participating in this event.  Strollers are allowed, however, we ask that those with strollers line up toward the back of the crowd at the Start Line for the safety of everyone.  Thank you for your cooperation!

Race Day Schedule:

6:00 a.m.- Sponsor Set-Up, Team Tailgate Set-Up

6:30-7:30 a.m.- Registration at Registration Tent: $35 per person- cash only- no timing chips available

7:00 a.m.- Survivor Photo on the steps of Trustmark Bank

7:30 a.m.- Warm-Up at Stage with world-famous Zumba instructor Erick Santana

7:45 a.m.- Line-Up at Start Line on Main Street in front of the Hilton Garden Inn (timed runners up front in roped-off area, followed by walkers, followed by participants with strollers)

8:00 a.m.- 5K/1 Mile Fun Run Start

8:00-10:00 a.m.- Entertainment and Games at Stage

10:00 a.m.- Awards

Where should I park? There is plenty of free parking throughout downtown Tupelo and the Fairpark area.  Be aware that Main Street will be closed on Race Day morning from Franklin and Elizabeth Streets to Spring Street.  We recommend using Franklin and Elizabeth Streets to navigate from Highway 45.

What roads will be closed? Main Street from Spring Street to Elizabeth Street will be closed beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Race Day.  If you live along the Race route, the streets on the Race route will be closed from 8 a.m. to approximately 10 a.m.  If you live along the Race route or in a neighborhood surrounded by the Race route, please be aware that the roads will be closed for the Race from 8 a.m. to approximately 10 a.m., and make plans accordingly.  Click here to view both the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run courses.  Thank you for your help in keeping the roads safe for the Race for the Cure participants!
